Bel'Hathal (epic charm) Empty Bel'Hathal (epic charm)

This is a level 42+ side-quest. Depending on your build this
can be a fairly easy quest or very hard.
1. Gather in Night Tear and you will discover a place called
"Burnt-Down Tree"
2. Beat the fight and get Wilrynn's Corpse Dust. (best method is mass
debuffs + armor)
3. Move to Gaea's Dawn and gather. You will discover Yaxxion's Remains.
4. Beat the fight to obtain a Massive Dragon Skull. (best method is to
use attacks that reduce life or lots of boosts + a damage to all attack)
5. Move to Wildhowl and gather. You will discover a new place.
6. Beat the fight to get an Unsealed Letter. (Best method is to just use
as much armor+ward)
7. Move to Draka and gather to discover "Salamaths Hidden Lab".
8. Beat the fight to get a charm. "Dusty Gyrometer". (Best method is to
use boosts + a damage to all)
The charm you get requires Physics rank 1. You can get that from the
academy in Lumina. After you max it move to Triland and fight Lez...
Use just one of those Dusty charms and it will auto-kill Lez. Making
it so you just have to kill the guardian. He is fairly easy to kill with
DPS.
Your reward is a summon that will raise both armor and ward to 70 if
you have some armor/ward going.

Can you get more than one of them? If so, do you have to repeat all those those steps 5 times sequentially, or can you do step 1 five times, step 2 five times, etc?

I have no idea. I haven't done this quest yet. I just saw the dusty gyrometer on the recently found charms list and was curious about it. I found this walk through when I followed up on it. Once I go through it I'll let you guys know.

I think you should be able to get 5 of them as you can always just repeat the last fight - you can get cups of balance in the same way...

You can definitely get 5, I've seen fight replays of people using more than 1.

Yeah, you can run 5 of them-- all you have to do is beat the Mirage Tower in Triland five times.

A few other notes: BDT is a bitch of a fight for some classes, Nightmares, Voodoo Heads, and banes are the key to it. If you are lucky enough to have Salamanth's, you can use them as well. I tend to run that, plus a bit of armor and protect, to help keep the Vultures alive and kicking.

I've mainly done +next and AOE for Yaxions Remains. I THINK they're like the lil' guys in ACOTE, in that they'll bring each other back to life if one's dead.

I can't remember how I did Emerald Coast. That was the second hardest for most of my guys (BDT being, bar none, a pain). I think I have my Assassins' deck still saved, but might not.

Best method for Salamanths Hidden Lab is Mana Needle. You get it as a boss-drop from Water of Life, it still's non-ongoing magic buffs. So, Mana Needle the Firetraps, then throw one Banishing Flame Stone in. Watch as it goes boom.

For Mirage Tower, 5 Dusty Gyrometers, and an indirect damage strat. I (just because I like'em) used banes to do it. CPB is rather more problematic, since the Gyrometer's self-normalize.

The only charm that I know of that you can only get one of is Demoncrusher (man, I really need to do more Prelex so I can get mine . . . ).

Constant debuffs on the chimera don't help much because he self normalizes. Banes and auras are the way to go here. I'd add some crystal of the dawns to your gear and some lawful wills.
Here's what kaervaak ran:
Life Siphon x5
Deathknight Blade x5
Nightmare x5
Voodoo Head x3
Woeful's Whip x5
Death Sentence x5
Power Leak x5
Shatter Hope x4
Petrification x4
Persistent Disease x5
Touch of Decay x2
Chaotic Decay x2
Mana Leech x5

I got it to work with lots of banes, lots of will destruction, and some armor. I think I went overboard on armor & will destruction, and under on banes, since I ended with 2 spirit and 800 health, but so it goes. Because he normalizes, the ongoing debuffs like feet bind & despair are useless. EDIT: Tabby already pointed this out.
Spoiler:
Colithon Skull, Power Leak, Terrible Idea, The Eye of Cerpathos, etc - would also be great. Here is an example: http://www.estiah.com/character/combat/replay/id/29436403/owner/41152

My warden got him with projection. I don't have a fight handy, but here's what he used:
Spoiler:
Golem's Heart and Aura of Darkness would've been great, and echo shield may have helped, but it went fine like this. I probably should have added Eternal Ice instead of Dragon Aegis, but I didn't think of it at the time.

I haven't tried with anyone else yet, but I'm expecting my paladin won't be able to hack it, seal of the pure notwithstanding.

Yeah, it took forever for my pally to clear it. Finally did it with projection and auras but it was a total pain in the ass.

Is Salamaths Hidden Lab an autofind once you have the unsealed letter? Or is there something else i need besides the letter? Or just keep gathering?

Charms for Burnt Down Tree

Willpower destruction, like Nightmares and Voodoo Heads
Woeful's whip can also be useful for mix of damage and spirit
Restore charms like Restore faith, or better yet Salamath's Judgement
Strong banes and summons

Paladins, use Divine Intervention, Aura of Preservation, and Sacrifice of the Pure. Anything to keep the Buzzards alive!

Should be autofind after completing Emerald Coast...
You do have to have cleared Revival of the Fury first though.
