crafted charms
I've been pretty much ignoring this, except for those that are crafted with soul gems/shards/dust. I get the feeling that i am missing out on some good charms?!? Any advise on some that i should look into getting?

Re: crafted charms
I'd divide crafted charms into four groups: dungeon crafts, PvP crafts, normal crafts, and treasure crafts.
I only have a few treasure charms myself, though I'd like to have more. I have lots of normal crafts & dungeon crafts - both general ones from lightbreeze and class/stat specific ones from places like Hack & Slash. I think you're missing out if you don't at least look for normal crafts.
- Dungeon crafts are charms you get from crafting with an item that can only be found at the end of a dungeon. Like the renegade coin after you escort chopley. The charm isn't dropped in the dungeon, the item is, and the item has no other purpose. These are pretty good charms, and they offer a nice variety you don't get when you get dungeon charm drops.
- You know PvP crafts already. They're very good single purpose charms without frills.
- Normal crafts are in the shops you can see without gathering. They're just like guild charms - they require items you can buy, find in dungeons, or gather. These charms tend to be more exotic than PvP charms: rather than an axe just doing 50 damage, it'll do 65 but have some downside (like it'll reduce your life/armor/ward, debuff your future melee, etc). Some of these are really important IMO - especially those in lightbreeze alchemy shop (in eversweep), which are pretty universally handy.
- Treasure crafts are in hidden shops you discover gathering, and require items you can only get from hidden events that are discovered gathering. These are a lot harder to get IMO, and probably the most powerful charms at their level (e.g. a l. 34 treasure craft - mind blast - does 5 spirit & 1 round self-stun; which is much better than is available elsewhere IMO).

Re: crafted charms
You definitely are missing on quite a bit of stuff. I would suggest you run a search through wiki and see. (just put in the element you want and it will list all charms)
