Chest Mimic (sylan map)

I finally got the stupid chest mimic at the end of "The Old Sylan Map" mission in Inachis. Since he's pretty much immune to all damage, I just spammed armor/ward charms. With all his extra action charms, despite having 53 charms, he tuckered out before I did with 38.

Anyone beat him with a different strategy?

Play lots of armor and selfstun is what I did. Basilisk Scale is especially nice.

I went the same way you did and got the same results lessig

couldn't think of any other way around it, unless u use a set with a lot of spirit attacks

That shadowlord drisp is a royal PITA too. I found ward and high consistent damage work ok, but I'm still only 50/50 against him: http://www.estiah.com/character/combat/replay/id/16155419/owner/47686

I beat him pretty easily using damage stack and haste

Two other effective tactics:
Piercing damage, holy and twinblades can take him down.
Damaging banes. Whenever he's actually doing something, he has no armor or ward, so he'll take bane damage for all those EAs he uses.
