Googlemail? Empty Googlemail?

Ok I cant remember how to use a googlemail account for multiple toons ( adding something after googlemail.com I think ), anyone help me out?

If i remember right it has something to do with putting a "." or "+" in the name. Gmail ignores the periods and anything after the + sign.

So t.j.hooker@gmail.com is the same as tjhooker@gmail.com

Howie is right. t.j.h.o.o.k.e.r@gmail.com is the same as tjhooker@gmail.com - gmail ignores all periods. It also ignores everything after a plus sign, the emails my estiah accounts are like this: lessigfan+jambarama@gmail.com.

Incidentally, I use the + sign when registering on sites whenever they let me. That way I can tell who sold my address to spammers (e.g. lessigfan+kotaku@gmail.com is a dead giveaway) and hackers are less likely to get my login right even if they have my password from another site.
