The Market help needed Empty The Market help needed

Decided to try the market today but I'm confused. Luckily I only bought a couple of items to test.

Bought Lavachyte in Inachis for 234g ( 93.6% - Base 250g ). Sold in Aleas for 229g ( 114.3% ). A loss of 5g, huh?

Either I'm thick and not understanding it or there is another factor I'm missing ( market fees or something )

Hmmm, after a closer look it seems you lose 15% ( working on the fact that an item with 20 gold base price only nets you 19g in a city with the exchange rate at 114.5%

I think the selling price is 25% below the rate for that city.
